Deploying Access in a Multi-User Network: Split an Access database into two: one that has Tables and another that has everything else.

Plan: Optimize the database so that many Users can access the same data Tables.

What Are the Steps? Create two backup copies of the database: one for Tables, the other for Forms. Open the Form database and delete the Tables.

Open the Tables database and delete all of the Forms, Queries, Reports and Macros.

Finally, link the Tables to the Forms database as External Data and use the Linked Table Manager to refresh the Links.

Worth Noting: This lesson demonstrates how to prepare a database for deployment including Database documentation, Password encryption, and editing the Client Settings.
