When you begin
a database, you need to start backwards--at the end of the process--and
analyze the final product. In some databases, the final report may be an
insurance claim form. In others, it may be an engineering status report. The Front Row
Video database is a simple business model: Who bought what? The final
product is a receipt that prints the names of the movies and the
rental price. The Receipt Form design will be presented in two lessons:
Tables and Forms. In the following lessons, the data captured by the
Receipt Form will be queried and formatted for print. How
should the Receipt Tables be designed? What are the relationships?
