3.2 Modify a Query: Add New Fields

Edit the Query

The Receipt Form will look up a customer's phone number. The CustomerNameSQ should include a phone number as well.

 

3. Try it: Edit the CustomerNameSQ

Go to tblCustomers.

Double-click a Field: HomePhone.
Double-click another Field: Address1

 

What Do You See? The HomePhone and Address1 Fields should be added to the QBE Grid on the bottom of the Query.

 

Do This, Now: Save the Query

Go to File->Save.

 

Close the CustomerNameSQ Query.

 

This Query will be used as the Record Source for the Receipt Form.
