This Combo Box has tblRating as the Record Source. tblRating has two Fields:

RatingID, (Number)

Rating, (Text)

 

The Movies Form has tblMovies as the Record Source. tblMovies has many Fields, including:

Rating, (Text)

 

Before You Begin: What Do You See?

The Control Source is Rating, which is Text.

The Column Count is 2.

 

4. Try it: Edit the Properties

Name: RatingCombo

Column Widths: 0", 1"

 

Now, the first Column will be hidden ( 0" wide) and the second Column will show the Rating.
