Controlling Form Properties

What happens when a User closes the Switchboard in this Mighty Access Database? How will she get back to work if the Navigation Panel is hidden? As a database designer, you can be proactive and remove the Close Button.

 

Before You Begin: Change the View

The Switchboard Form is open in Form View.

Go to Home->Views->View->Design View.

 

2. Try it: Edit the Form Properties

Click on the Form Selector.

Go to the Property Sheet->All.

 

Edit the following Properties:

Auto Resize: Yes

Fit to Screen: Yes

Record Selectors: No

Navigation Buttons: No

Scroll Bar: Neither

Control Box: No

Close Button: No

Min Max Buttons: None

Moveable: No

Save your changes.
