Who Should Do the
Testing?
All good software should be tested by real Users. Software testing doesn’t require thousands of
Users to
find the flaws or bugs. Pick five people and let them try the software.
If all five Users fail at the same point, you don’t need another 995
people to tell you that there’s something wrong with the expression or
navigation.
In the initial test, you should select people who are not
upset by failure.
Some people are not appropriate for software testing.
They are easily offended by errors. Their bad impressions can destroy a
good program that needs a little more work.
Sample Error: The name of the Form is spelled wrong in the Macro. It should be
Movies.
