Import More Tables

Some Tables are dynamic: The data updates daily, perhaps minute by minute. Other Tables are static: the data doesn't change. For example, there are twelve months in a year. That won't be changed for a while.

You can import Tables into Excel and add them to a PowerPivot Data Model. The two Tables we will import are tblType and tblSpecialty. The data in these Tables is static. It will not be updated very often, if at all.

1. Try This: Import Tables into Excel

Go to Data->Get External Data->From Access.
Go to Data->Get External Data.
Click on From Access.
Browse to the Documents folder.
Select a file: Charlottes Website Data.accdb
Click Open.

Okaaaaay, keep going...
