You can resize the column to fit the data.

Resize the Column
Look at the top of the spreadsheet. Each Column is
identified by a letter.
Between the Header for Column A and Column B is
a line. When you run you cursor over that line, you should see a
double-headed arrow. You can use this arrow to drag the Column
width wider or more narrow if you wish.
