Compress Pictures Pictures can be quite large and rich with detail. However, you may need to compromise quality for size if you plan on sharing your spreadsheet online or by E-mail. Each picture may be 4-8 MB, so it can add up.   1. Try it: Compress the Pictures Select the picture first, please. Go to Picture Tools->Format. Go to Adjust->Compress Pictures. 2. What Do You See? When you select Compress Pictures, you will be prompted to review the Compression options:   Apply only to this picture: The Compression can be applied to all pictures, or only the one selected.   Delete cropped areas of pictures: Removing the cropped sections will reduce the size.   Target output: There are different resolutions for print, screen and E-mail that you can choose. Accept the defaults: Apply to this picture, Delete cropped areas and use document resolution. Click OK to Compress the picture. Picture Tools->Format->Adjust->Compress Pictures
