Create a New Spreadsheet

We will create a new Sparkline spreadsheet that will look up the data from the Sales Subtotal by Month spreadsheet.

 

2. Try it: Create a Sparkline Sheet

Go to a new blank spreadsheet.

Double-click the tab.

Rename the spreadsheet: Sparklines.

 

Add the following labels:

Select Cell A1 and type: Month.

Select Cell B1 and type: Total.

If these are labels (and they are) they need to be formatted BOLD. Select Row 1.
Go to Home->Font->Bold.

 

Select Cell A2 and type: January

Select Cell A3 and type: February

Select Cell A4 and type: March

Select Cell A5 and type: April

Select Cell A6 and type: May
Select Cell A7 and type: June
Select Cell A8 and type: July
Select Cell A9 and type: August

Select Cell A10 and type: September
