Table Style Options

You can enhance the Table Style by using one, or more, of the Table Style Options. The goal should be to make the Table easier to read, as well as more colorful.

Before You Begin: Click in the Table. The Table Tools should be available.

6. Try This: Edit the Table Style Options
Go to Table Tools->Design.

Go to Table Style Options.
Click OFF First Column.
Click ON Header Row. (May be ON already.)

 

What Do You See? The first row, the Header, is a different color than the other Rows. The first Column is formatted with a darker color, too, when the First Column is checked ON. The formatting is lighter when the First Column is checked OFF.
