The Combined Document
3. Try This: Resolve the Style Conflict
When you merge
two documents you may end up with two sets of Styles.
Microsoft Word can only keep one set of formatting. You will be prompted to choose which set of formatting changes to keep when the documents are combined.
Click
Continue with Merge.
Microsoft
Word will create a new
document that merges everything that was in both files. The new document will combine the Original and the Revised documents. There will be only one set of formatting changes.
You can use the Review Ribbon to Track
Changes, Add Comments, and Proof the document. The example on
this page has the Reviewing Pane on.
That will do. SAVE and Close your work.
