Collapse the Outline View

The Master Document actually has links to the Subdocuments. You can see the links when you Collapse the outline.

 

5. Try it: Collapse the Outline View

Go to Outlining -> Master Document.

Click on: Collapse Document.
You will be prompted to Save this Document.
Enter a name: Charlottes Master EAN where EAN are your initials. Click OK.

 

What Do You See? The Subdocument sections have been reduced to hyperlinks. The links show the pathway to each Subdocument. There is a Section Break (Continuous) between each Subdocument in the Master Document.
