Lesson: Horses and Zebras

Before You Begin: Start Microsoft Word 2013. When the Welcome window opens, select a new, blank document.

 

Try This: Do the following steps

1. Insert a photo of a cat from the ClipArt gallery.
2. Insert an illustration of a mouse from the ClipArt gallery.
3. Insert a picture of a dog from the ClipArt gallery.
4. Format the Position of dog to be Top Left with Square Wrapping.
(HINT: Select the picture and go to Picture Tools->Format->Arrange->Position.)
5. Format the Text Wrapping around the cat and mouse to be Middle with Square Wrapping.
6. Format the Text Wrapping around the dog to be In Line with Text.
7. Resize the pictures so the cat is the largest and the mouse is the smallest.
8. Copy the mouse and paste it three times.
9. Add the following text: The dog ran after the cat who was chasing the mouse.
10. Copy and paste your text three times.
11. Add the text: The mouse just wanted some cheese.
12. Drag and drop the sentence “The mouse just wanted some cheese” to be after the first sentence.
13. Close Microsoft Word. When you are prompted, click
Don't Save.
