Grammar Options

Microsoft Word has options for the Grammar Checker as well. You can choose if you are going strictly by the rules or not.

For example, the phrase "A rose is a rose is a rose" is not misspelled, but it would probably be flagged by the Grammar Checker.

1. Try it: Find the Grammar Options

Go to File ->Options -> Proofing.

2. What Do You See? The Grammar Checker will check the grammar as well as the spelling as you type. The Writing Style is marked Grammar Only.

Click on Settings to choose a different Writing Style.
