Insert Text
Microsoft
Word has Text Boxes, Quick Parts and Building Blocks to help you compose a
professional letter. These steps show how to Insert the
Date and Time.
Before You
Begin: Place your
cursor after the zip code and press Enter a couple of times
to create a few blank lines.
Notice that the cursor may still be
centered. The Date/Time shown here is centered, too.
2.Try This: Insert
the Date and Time
Go to
Insert ->Text->Date & Time.
Select a
LONG date format.
A LONG date format spells out the month, day and
year.
(MM/DD/YYYY). Some
countries write the date as day, month, year. (DD/M/YY). Using this format could minimize the confusion with the any format that
uses only
numbers.
Update Automatically shows the current Date/Time whenever the document is opened.
