Create a New Document
When you start Microsoft Word 2013, you will see a gallery of document Templates. A
Template is a formatted document. It gives you a place
to start.
1. Try This:
Open a New Document
Select a Template: Blank Document..
2. What Do
You See? Microsoft Word opens a new Blank Document. The
name, "Blank" is misleading. A plain piece of paper in Word is
actually loaded with built in Quick Parts and formatting.
