Save the Database

There are several different versions of Microsoft Access. Each version has a unique file format.

 

You can use the Save Database options to make copies of the database that are compatible with Microsoft Access 2000 or Access 2002-2003.

 

1. Try it: Save and Publish

A COPY of the database is still open.

Go to File ->Save As.

Click on Save Database As.

 

What Do You See? The Default Access database format is *.accdb, The File Type for Access 2000 (*.mdb) is different than the File Type for Access 2002-2003.
