Summary

In many businesses the information is in a database. Excel can look up that data and analyze it with PivotTables, PivotCharts and other tools.

This lesson began by working with External Data.
We linked to a Table in Microsoft Access. We also imported two Tables into Excel and added them to a Data Model. The data was displayed as a PivotChart.

PowerPivot and Power View are new features in Microsoft Excel. The PowerPivot includes the option to create Relationships.

Perspectives is one of the best options in Power View. The data can be displayed as different Views for different users.
