Copy the Data with AutoFill

Charlotte’s Website sells eggs, chicken wings, and little sausages wrapped in pastry. Eggs, Legs, and Pigs in a Basket. AutoFill works here, as well.

7. Try This, Too: Copy a Series

Select Cell B2 and type: Eggs.

Now, click once on Cell B2 to select it.

Double click the AutoFill handle on Cell B2.

What Do You See? AutoFill copies the word Eggs and fills all the way down to Row 24.

Look Again: AutoFill copied the data down as far as the column to the left. So don’t worry, it won’t go on beyond Cell B24.
