Working with PowerPivot

Business runs on databases. People in government, education, and manufacturing have to manage thousands (maybe millions!) of records. Databases provide forms for accurate data entry, pre-formatted reports, and secure, robust data management. Databases can be big, automated systems for accounts payable or online order processing. Databases can be small and customized as well.

So, the customer and product records may be in a Mighty Access database but the really good tools are in Excel. Fortunately, Excel can lookup Tables in a database live: in real time. PowerPivot is a new, sophisticated tool for data analysis. PowerPivot lets you analyze massive amounts of data in Excel and create relationships between the Tables. This, you gotta see!
